Hillsboro - Dennis Rusk, 58, died in Mary Sherman Hospital at Sullivan at 5 a.m. Sunday. He had been a patient for several weeks. He was engaged in farming near Sullivan for many years. Mr. Rusk was born Feb 10, 1903, near Hillsboro, a son of Edward and Elizabeth Gardiner Rusk. He was married to Pauline Templeton of Palestine, Ill. He was a graduate of HIllsboro HS and Purdue University. He is survived by his widow; two sons, John, stationed at Key West Fla with the US Navy and Thomas, a Purdue students; two sisters, Misses Mary and Blanche Rusk of Hillsboro and three brothers, Charles of Waynetown and Ralph and Elton of Hillsboro. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church in Palestine, Ill with burial in Palestin Cemetery.
